After nearly a year of community engagement, ZWHI and Perpetual are moving to the next step: designing the system. This involves working with community feedback, industry knowledge, and ongoing discussions with representatives from disadvantaged communities. The goal is to create a plan covering important aspects like business costs, return bin locations, governance, and container types.
The system design process is open to the public, and we invite your participation at whatever level works best for you.
Virtual System Design Discussions
Between January 18-March 7 we held weekly public design discussions to begin the process and inform the system design plan.
